So every time I go into the salon to get my dreads treated and styled, my stylist would ask me, what style I want and I just go blank, then I end up opting for just a few strands out in front and some style of some sort at the back like you see in the picture below. So I decided to browse and look for styles out there and here are the amazing styles I came up with:
That's me- for those that do not know I wear dreads and I just felt like showing my fine face and cute smile..*winks*
We all understand the whole concept of makeup, but why exactly do women go thru the stress of stocking up makeup products upon products and applying this many products on our faces?
I have heard so many taglines for makeup, for example, some people say makeup is a lie, some even go as far as saying makeup artist would not go to heaven(simple because they see huge transformations) and so on...but we just need to understand that makeup would only do what you want it to do for you. Apply too much and you look so unlike you, apply moderately and you get to enhance you......
There are a number of reasons women choose to wear makeup. One of the top reasons being to enhance your natural beauty and be more alluring. Here are more reasons:
Women wear makeup to make them more confident. Your face is usually the first thing anyone sees when you walk into a place, and a well made up face brings along this glow that radiates confidence and often makes the woman feel ready to face the world. Don't get me wrong, a woman can be confident without makeup as well, the makeup only serves as a booster to her natural confidence.
Women wear makeup to cover up something e.g. blemishes, dark spots, scars, visible pores or brighten up a dull looking face.
Some women wear makeup to appear youthful. Using makeup to hide lines, wrinkles and age spots and in the end giving her a more youthful glow. This technically does not make a 70+ woman look 18+, but it just gives the face a graceful younger look. And in reverse, we have younger women even teenagers trying to look older or should I say matured.
So why do you wear makeup, please share your thoughts on this........
